Explore Ismailof lsland
Ismailof Island, only a few hundred yards from Quiet Place, is home to local residents, the Saltry Restaurant, a visitor's center and art galleries -- the restaurant and galleries are connected by a private boardwalk which is open to guests each afternoon. You're welcome to row across or we'll take you. Enjoy fine dining at the Saltry or visit local artists in their studios. Where the boardwalk ends, the isthmus begins. There you can beachcomb and discover a variety of marine plants and animals tucked away in tide pools.
